I put this on my wasr10 and this thing is way better then the JTAC47 on my other ak (and I loved the jtac). Recoil: say an ar-15 is 3 out of 10, this makes it a 4 1/2 or 5. Rise: there is no rise. Flash: I found it still has flash but.... Amount of flash depends on what brand of ammo and grain (from what I experienced). All in all I love it. Along with my stikefire red dot it made a pretty accurate combo. My only gripe is the high temp ring that come with it. After some rounds it gets some wobble. Hopefully they will come out with something better. Great job again Todd!

Here are a couple pics from the class..
The first day till noon Hurricane Hanna was still whipping and drowning us with water.
Then like an act of god, Skys turned blue and birds were chirping.
But all was not well, with 130% humidity and 90deg heat baking us, it was definitely a hot one..
I was the only person running an AK, but shot better than most guys running AR's and Red dots..
Here's a couple pics.

Dammit CXS you make me feel proud of yah. Nice photos. I wish I could grow a beard like yours. Plus you were original in taking the HDI AK to the course. How did the PWS hold up?

Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one considering putting a $100 comp on a $400 gun...

It did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Recoil and muzzle climb were a non-issue with it.
Which in turn transferred to quicker shots where the "good shit" is.

I was coming up from prone to run up to cover, when an instructor accidentally tripped me and my muzzle ate the shit out of the dirt/rocks.
I immediately noticed this and just smacked the "debris" out while running.
With a standard slant break or Birdcage I would have probably had problems clearing the muzzle.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who complains about the recoil or muzzle rise..

I'll post more pics as I get them uploaded.

That's cool. Less cleaning and reliability for the AR. Right now I am saving up some cash. There are some new rifles coming out in a year or so like the SCAR and Masada. Hopefully PWS gets some new stuff out for those systems also.

Yep I put a $100 comp on a (at the time) $200 gun. To me it is really really worth it. If you can make a ak more useful then it already is, then why not. A good amount of people talk an immense amount of garbage about ak's, but is it: reliable, yes. Durable, yes. SHTF gun, yes. Helpful keeping you alive against zombies, yes. Accurate for it's purpose, yes. So if you can make an already good gun better then get this. You will not be dissapointed Plus it's looks sexy and evil. Maybe Todd will give you a hat like I was supposed to get haha.

I tried to send you an IM but you have them blocked. Can you tell me more about the JTAC47P ? I am building an AK Pistol and that seems to be what i need (jtac47p) to help maintain muzzle control. You video shows a AMD being fired one handed and I am impressed.

I was able to test the flash suppressing capabilities of this little gem about 2 months ago. I compared it against an US made A2 style flash suppressor on my Vector (7.62x39). I used the nastiest, oldest Russian 7.62 that I could find in the storage room.

The A2 had a small flash about the size of a pen or pencil (long and narrow) with some sparks that appeared to radiate out from the holes in the flash suppressor.

The FSC47 had a slightly larger flash. It was about the size of a larger pen or smaller. The sparks were also present.

I wish I had pictures to show but I do not. I have not found anything other than a Vortex that will completely eliminate the flash from a 16" rifle chambered in 7.62x39. The performance was roughly equal between the FSC47 and A2.

Hey Todd,
What order quantities would it take to get a FSC47"p" run?
It took a little ingenious adaptation to get your comp gem to fit my KTR08, which runs a 1/2x28 thread.  I am looking to get another rifle built...

LOL!! That's a Replica...
Gotta look out for the wording..
"COMP/BRAKE – DNTC type (short) – 14mmLH"
"type" is the key word there...
Which translates to, "We are illegally copying your shit and don't care"...

thought you all would enjoy seeing this pic from Tactical Response's Fighting Rifle I just finished taking.  Your break is outstanding.  I loved being able to keep my T-1's dot inside the heart box while rapid fire.  Anyone on the fence about getting one should go ahead and get pull the trigger, pun intended.

If you look close, you can see the hammer is still almost vertical in the firing sequence, the bolt having not yet cycled to eject, extract, reset and all that.

Stay away from AA-OK and that FSC for $38.00

That is an Aluminum Airsoft Version, and it is not intended for use on a real rifle.

If you want a real FSC556 for your rifle, we carry the real FSC556, or you can obtain one from PWS.
