Does anyone know if polish 762 underfolders ever had  solid beech wood lower hand guards ?

As far as I know, all the stamped AKMS style rifles used a laminated wood.

Some of the early milled receiver AK-47's used solid wood stock sets, but the Poles went to laminate pretty early.

As a matter of fact, some did have solid wood lowers.
They even had fixed stock solid wood rifles.

Here is a Polish kit with new Polish beech wood stocks built on a hesse rec a few years ago.
The wood is very nice.

Bingo,   that is it.   I got one in a parts kit and was not sure it was correct .   Thanks for the help guys.
