Polish tantal. 5.45x39, original chrome lined barrel, all matching numbers, all necessary compliance parts. I got 3 mags and a crate (2,160 rounds) of surplus ammo (corrisive...)

I'm going to go shoot it either tomorrow or Sunday. I'm excited!

That is a beautiful rifle. In my opinion, it is one of the nices AK platforms you can buy. Polish Pride! (Even though I'm not Polish) haha I hope mine looks as nice as yours.

I am confused about these rifles color. I have seen some from Interarms that look a lot more grey than yours. I wonder if there are different ones even though they are the same manufacture? Or maybe I am just being stupid and it is just the camera.

I was wondering about the color too. I passed up on an Interarms tantal at a gun show this past weekend. I didn't like the light grey parkerizing, and of course, the price.

The parkerized ones will have a gray color tone to them....other builders/manufacturers use other methods to finish...sometime over te park..sometimes by itself.

I have used duracoat with great results...matches the original finish 95% at least. More air pressure or flow will give you a lighter matte color, and less air pressure or more flow will give a glossy look.

It's honestly a lot more gray than the pics look like. It's not super light, though, just not "black" by any means. I like it... It gives it a little different look.

Great looking rifle! I bought a kit over a year ago from Copes and got it done about this time last year. Test fired it with Wolf non-corrosive and really liked the gun and the cartridge. At the same time I bought the kit I also picked up a good sized lot of the Bulgy milsurp ammo. Just got around to shooting some of it in the rifle and was really impressed with it. Accruate, reliable and easy to clean up after. I do believe it is corrosive but it was not nearly as hard to clean up after as the corrosive 7.62x54R Russian and Bulgy milsurp I have shot in my PSL.

I wanted to get the folder, but damn is it short. My mouth was firmly pressed against the reciever to get a sight picture, BUT damn they're sexy!
