Where can I go to understand the numbers on my WASR 10/63? They read left to right; 1985 PM 3744. I want to know all I can about this rifle, thanks.

I'm not an expert on AK markings but as I understand it......
The arrow in the triangle is the Romanian makers stamp.  It's often confused with the Izhmash Russian makers stamp.
I think that mark is used by S.N.ROMARM, but possibly by SA/CUGIR.

1985 is the year the trunnion was made.  This may be different than the other parts since the Romanian's often use surplus parts in these rifles.

PM is a serial number prefix to the rest of the serial number.... 3744.  The actual serial number is PM3744
The US government mandates that firearms must have unique serial numbers composed of letters and numbers So if there is no such prefix on a foreign firearm one has to be added.
Whether the PM was originally on the trunnion or was added for import, I don't know.

The GP / WASR-10/63 is the model number for US import purposes.
