| Question on the underfolder sold by AIM Surplus; it lists the gun with a new U.S. made barrel. Is this barrel chrome lined or not? It is the Yugoslavian M702BT and listed for $469.99. Looks to be a decent buy but was not sure about the chrome lined barrel. Input please. |

I am almost positive it is not chrome lined, most all yugos are not (at least the ones I seen and read about), the century ones are not for sure. I have handled them and I thought it felt like a nice gun. The yugo barrels are supposed to be a thicker heavier barrel, if that makes them better or not I don't know. You would think a non chrome lined thick barrel would be better than a non chrome lined regular barrel. But Im no expert thats just what I have witnessed. Either way a non chrome lined barrel should serve you well as long as you treat it right.
But just because it is chrome lined you cant forget about it. And I am pretty sure it's a green mountian barrel, just not chrome lined. They are supposed make good barrels from what I have heard. |
