Hey guys, I'm looking at getting my first AK but don't know a lot about them. There's a Century AK here for $450. Is this a decent gun/price? Thanks.

I went ahead and bought it. Just put 20 rds through it out back at 25 yards. 1.5" group offhand

I'm happy.

Awesome.  What kind of AK is it.  Romanian? Yugo?  Is it a fixed stock or a folder?

Any pics?

No pics yet (in the process of moving) but it says DCI and St. Paul, MN on the receiver.

No markings from other countries. It has a fixed Tapco stock, but I'm thinking about repacing it with a side-folder. Lock-up is tight. There is a little wobble on the top handguard and with the mag. After I took it apart and cleaned it the wobble got a little worst but not too bad. All in all I'm happy with it so far.

What can I expect out of a cheaper AK like this at 50 and 100 yards? 6-8 inch group?

The lower handgaurd on my century yugo wobbles a bit as well. I can shim it up to fix it but havent botherd. I think the wood has shrunk with age and and some sort of shim will stop the movement.
