One of the Valmets that I own is a M78 Milled reciever in .308. When I traded for this rifle about three years ago it was in 99% condition except it was missing the carry handle and I thought finding one of them would be hopelees. Today I bought a carry handle, minus the mounting screw, a buttstock with buttplate all in brandnew condition, 200.00 for all!. This buttstock is great looking walnut like I have now, But pretty dry so I rubbed in a good coat of linseed to preserve it. I may sell the buttstock. My ? is my wood forearm I would like to maintain as they are hard to find as well, I was thinking of putting a coat of ACCRAGLASS bedding compond on the inside of my forearm to make it stronger for the long haul. I take very good care of my weapons but the are all shooters. Any feedback on the ACCRAGLASS?.
Thank You In advance for your reply.
