What is the advantage of owning a Chrome lined barrel vs a non chromed line barrel on a Galil? I was told that with .223 that a chrome lined barrel isn't a must. However, the 7.62x39 version I'm getting does have a chrome lined barrel. Is there really any difference between the two? Does Chrome lined/non chrome lined barrel impact the life span of the rifle? Any input is appreciated. Because I hear this discussion regarding not just the Galil but AK's and AR's from local dealers and gun shows. |
