I have bid for a Galil .223 on another site.
Currently at $2100., how much is too much?

The reserve isn't met yet, I think it would be around $2,500 or so. That is the lower range that is being asked for these rifles. Its a factory Galil, never to be made or imported again,so the value is set by what people are willing to pay to get it.

I wouldn't go over $2500. I'm not even sure I would go much higher. I seem to think you could find one cheaper if you keep your eyes open.

I bet the reserve on that rifle is higher than 2500. I say that because the rifle with just the mags will normaly go for that and that case will sell for several hundred among Galil nuts.

Well another guy out-bid me, and I think I am going to let it go.
Maybe down the road somewhere there is one waiting for me.
Thanks for the input, guys.

$3050.00    Thats quite a sum.  Gun broker seems to be a great place to sell.  I just would'nt want to be on the buying end.

As long as you are still happy when it arrives not price is too much.

What that guy paid.  I own a factory made Galil and think it's great (although heavy).  I'm glad I got mine when I did, because I think that's insane.  Of course, who am I to question the free market?  If the buyer and seller are happy, then all is good.

Yeah, I got a Galil AR back in 1987.  These were expensive rifles even back then.  IIRC, I paid around $750 for mine 19 years ago!

The $2500 range seems like the going price on Galils today.  Maybe ARMs for for a little more and ARs go for a little less.

It's amazing that in 19 years since I've bought mine, the price of Galil mags has actually gone down quite a bit.  They seem to be as cheap as a standard euro AK mag nowadays.
