I would like to build a Galil and I have seen posts here and there about converting Hunter's to Galil but have never seen the particulars. Can you use the Poly receiver on a Galil kit(with little modification) or was what they were talking about simply a "dress up"?

Not to hi-jack your post, but this is my question also. I was wondering if a standard AK barrel can be pressed into my Hunter receiver. Galil or Valmet kits and parts have to be pricy. I was thinking about making a frankenAK.
