Is there a specific to adjust the front sight on a galil?

A flat bladed screwdriver is all you need.

To move it from side to side, unscrew the side you want to move it to, then screw the other side in until it's tight again. Repeat until adjusted.

What about up and down?

It's not on the rear sight?

I don't actually have a Galil, but I have a Valmet 62, and to the best of my knowledge, the front sight mechanisms are identical.

From the looks of it, it has the same up and down pole that an AK has except an AK tool won't work on it.

OK, I just found out you need an Uzi front sight tool. Vector sells them for $10.

The Valmet front sight is windage only and the hood doesn't have a hole in it like the Galil. The windage adjustment is exactly the same though and I even think a Galil sight hood will fit a Valmet.

Is that a site tool for UZI model A or model B - they are different tools.

Edit - never mind my question.  The one for $10 is for UZI model A

You can get them here for $15. I've ordered stuff from them in the past, and it has come quickly, considering they are located in Israel.
