Galil Micro Kit

So I have a deal in the works with my buddy. He wants to buy my Golani (I got lucky with a superb rifle) then SBR'it with one of these kits. Need the low down on this product, opinions are encouraged

Hope you have a nice machine shop.
The reciever will need the front trunnion milled to fit that hand guard.
The gas block from that kit will have sealing issues- original was a press fit but their copy uses allen screws to squeeze the block onto the barrel.
The barrel is probally 1:12 twist and not chrome lined.

Sounds like a big waste of $$$ and time. Thanks for the replies, it's not worth screwing up a good rifle.
