| the spring on my galil will not push in so i can field strip any suggestions on how to fix it |
if the button is already pushed IN and U want to take off the top cover, its very simple, hammer + 2x4 wood. place the wood against the edge of the top cover & hit wood 1 time w/hammer. top cover will come flying off.
| I can only figure that the gas piston is hung up in the rear position which would make the button difficult to push in, Remove the mag and be sure ther is no bullet in the chamber, then try working the charge handle back and forth. If that doesn't work try tapping it with a rubber mallet, then if necessary use the screw driver board method described above. |
