Im a bit of a newb to the Galil, I should be getting my micro soon. I have 6 Orlite Mags so far, and Ive been having some trouble finding some adequate mag pouches. Since most mag pouches are either designed for the 30rnd 5.56 Steel USGI mags (which is a tight fit for the Orlites)..... or the (duck? WTF) cotton warsaw pact/chicom chest rigs for the AK mags.
A happy medium, I just stumbled onto is the USGI E-Tool Carrier, in ACU (with Molle). It will happily accomodate 4 Orlite Mags with room to spare. Sporting E-Tool Carriers on whatever rig you have going on may not be that sexy, but for fitting 4 Orlites, it gets the job done. The Carriers are built to have a shovel thrown in them, so they are built to last. |
