Stock M70B.
Made some additions to fit my tastes.
Added an Ultimak mount and an Aimpoint.
Then I put a 74 style break on it.
The break really tames the recoil and makes the follow up shots fast accurate.
I might get some Ironwood designs wood for it at some point.
I would really like all black plastic however.

Cool. Do the grenade sights and ultimak get in the way of each other?

Yes.  The site will not flip up with the Aimpoint mounted.

No big deal.  I don't think I will need to use the grenade launcher anytime soon.

Ironwood furniture would be a waste; what you have is perfect and would be gorgeous with just a little spit and polish. It'd glow just like that table top with nothing but a light sanding and some linseed oil.

It's hard to find original Yugo handguards in good shape like that anymore.

Huh?

I never thought about refinishing the wood.  I guess I could and it would be pretty easy to do.

Maybe I will give it a go and see how it turns out.

Here is what it can look like with very little effort:

EDIT: Thanks to Nitromax for coaching me on the refinishing stuff.

Helluva nice guy!
