| Can a regular ak receiver be used for a M92 kit build? Also, if I bought an extended Krinkov muzzlebreak and screwed it on, would that make the rifle legal? Or would I have to buy a 16 inch barrel for it??? I'm new to this build stuff, so is it worth it to save money this way? |
Yes, we expect to have the dedicated M92 UF receivers by mid November. The receiver model is NDS-M92. We are keeping a notification list for the receivers. To get on the list, email me at [email protected]. Harlan NoDak Spud LLC |
The Yugo M92 kit is meant to be assembled on an AKM type receiver. If assembled as an underfolder, the rear block requires the back edge of the receiver to be trimmed at an angle to match. Several vendors are offering M92 barrel extensions. If the extension is permanently affixed to the barrel, and the resulting extended barrel is more than 16" in length, then this satisfies ATF regs for minimum barrel length for a rifle. Look for the barrel extensions at Ohio Rapid Fire, DPH Arms, Copes Distributing and Military Gun Supply. Harlan NoDak Spud LLC |
