Yours is based off a M70AB1 (often referred to as a "slabside") with a 1mm receiver and non-bulged trunnion.

Rifles based on M70AB2 and B1 (fixed stock) kits have 1.6mm receivers and the Yugo-standard bulged trunnions.

I called them up and ordered just what you see there and it fit perfectly with no issues except had to cut just a little from the grenade launcher sight.

***I'm still drooling over the rifle in the above post***

Posting again since I added the M64 pistol grip, para cord to the stock and the cleaning rod I finally found. Really want the Iron Wood grip, but it looks like it's not in the cards for me just yet.

Not sure about the Pistol grip yet.
Sling is also not true. I like the sling though.

I got mine a couple of months ago.  I have a bird cage flash hider and SAW grip on the way.  Only other thing I plan is an Ultimax rail and micro dot; maybe.

Updated with Ultimak gas tube, red dot and proper flash hider:

That thing looks great! Yugo AK's have really grown on me. I have an M70 parts kit that I bought a while back that needs to be re-welded. Once it's done, it will ride with me in the back seat of my truck.

This Yugo was built from a like new condition all matching kit, Nodak receiver, Ironwood stock set, G2 FCG, BHO magazines, Yugo sling, and a nice blued finish. This reminds me of those Mitchell imports that came in years ago.
I still have a good condition all matching Yugo kit with excellent condition teak stock set, I may consider selling. Still covered in cosmoline.

Very nice! I like the original setup best! Is that a Century build w/IWD stock?
Link Posted: 11/1/2011 1:37:53 AM EDT
[#30]
Negative, it's a custom build on a Nodak Spud, with the Iron Wood stock set. Century doesn't use a blued finish.

Liquidmetal. I need your input!

What do you think? Ditch the TWS cover and swap it out for a standard cover and RPK sight and install side rail? Or keep the TWS.

Very nice M72.

Milled M72s aren't that common, if it were my rifle I would fight the urge to make any permanent modifications to it.  If you're happy with the TWS mount, I would stick with it.  It gives you the option of returning the rifle to it's original form in the future.

I just had to share this with everyone.  Picked it up at a pawn shop today for $399.  Other than
the gangbanger special paint job, which will soon be a thing of the past, it's a nice yugo M70 ab.
Enjoy, and lets hear the humor!!!

Yes, it started off as an underfolder. The backend is M70 stock parts with a US made M72 trunion in an NDS M72 receiver and Ironwood teak furniture. Also has an M89 rail on the other side. The receiver was modified for 5.56 and built by PoHF. I installed new tritium lamps.
