Does anyone know how to tighten the underfolder? When extended, I have about 1/2" up and down movement in it.

Found the answer. Look under the locking ring on the outside right of the reciever. There is a locking nut under it. Open the stock part way to allow access to that nut. notice that it is locked in place by a pin. That pin is driven out in one direction, so look for the larger hole, either on top or bottom. Drive that pin out towards the larger of the holes. Once it is out, turn the round nut to tighten the folder. Once it is tighter, line up the holes and reinstall the locking pin from the large hole.

i just got my m92 build back, and it has the same issue. i would have eventually looked into it, but thanks to your post, i'll tackle it tonight.
while i'm at it, i'll slip a c-clip onto where there *should* be a shepards hook.

thanks.

That only limits side to side play. I dont think up and down play can be fixed.  It has to do with the receiver holes.

Yep, thats what I found out. No adjustment for up and down play.

you're correct.
i went home after work to put a good eyeball on my stock, and then dig into it.
a quick look showed that the holes and the two pins that engage into them had a very minor amount of play, and that there is no adjustment for that.
even though the play is barely noticable at the pins/holes, it translates out to a good amount of up/down movement out at the end, about a half inch as was mentioned.
fortunately, i notice that when i extend the stock and shoulder it, that the natural tendency is for the stock to not wiggle at all, but to go to one end of the travel and remain there.
if i grab the stock and try to move it up and down, it will have some slop, and that does tick me off, but it shoulders up plenty stabile for shooting.
there pretty much isn't any slop in the folded position.
i'll just have to live with it for now.

Found the same with mine at the range today. It falls into place. Didn't throw off accuracy. First time I shot this one since I got it back from Century. Ran without a hitch. Had to adjust the front sight right and up but once dialed in it was great. Funny but it seems to have less felt recoil than my WASR folder. This one has a G2 FCG. What a differece that made. First one I got had a Century FCG. World of difference. Reminded me of my Chinese FCG.

I think they need to have a little slop in them or else the 4 male/female locks wont engage smoothly.  I had mine nice and tight, but I could only get one side toengage, the other side was partially engaged.  I drilled out the holes a little until both sides snapped in with ease.  Unfortunately, I have a little play.  Maybe a half inch or so. It doesnt bother me.

This is common in all under folder designs even well made stocks like those found on factory ruger mini 14's and Russian AKMS's

It is not something to worry about if it bothers you live with it or by a fixed stock
