What are the common finishes on the Yugo M70AB2 underfolder kits? I was told mine were black oxide, I was curious if that was a common finish, and how would I  duplicate that finish on my receiver.

Thanks!

Hey dude, the original finish was blued. If you want to keep it cool, and original I would blue it.
Also, the original receivers have stoned milling marks  on the outside.

For my Yugo krink my gunsmith just blued the receiver (Armory USA) and the barrel extention, the rest was left straight out of the box.

Very nice looking! The blueing on that Krink looks pretty close.

The receiver I got was cold blued, and it seems like its a good bit lighter than the parts kit. The parts kit looks black, while the blueing looks dark blue, not quite a match. Hopefully you can see the difference in these pictures, although its much more noticeable in person than in the pics.

The NDS is what I have as well. They came cold blued, correct? How much closer did the hot blueing get to the factory finish?

Thanks

That doesn't even seem like cold bluing on the NDS recievers.  I am under the assumption that it is just  the discoloration from heat treating and tempering.  Maybe it is cold bluing though.

dpmmn's yugo's sure are purty though!
