I have a fixed stock I'd like to put a optics rail on. Would anyone know if the Yugoslavs
had their own particular rail?

Yep, they used a different rail than the other European AK's......

Just double check the fit of the rail to std Russian optics brackets if you do not commit to all-Yugo.
FWIW the Zrak scopes are pretty nice.
