I picked up my Century M70 underfolder about two years ago for $450.00.  I thought that was a fair price then.  My favorite gun shop has a new Century M70 underfolder on the shelf and the price gat is $1150.

Holy crap.

I bought one for $429 a few years ago and thought I was doing good when I sold it a year ago to a co worker for $650. Wish I still had it now...

The LGS is pretty much stocked back up. Yugo pap is 1100. I thought 700 was too high for them when they were in stock in September.

Moral of the story. Sell yours and make some bank. They will be back down to around $550 in about a year. Its just panic buying driving up prices.

I am in the same boat so to speak.  I've always wanted an AK and I'd love to sit back and wait for prices to drop.

However, I don't believe the ammo and gun pricing will ever come back down.  Not because of the general population panic buying, but because the entire political system is bent on removing these from our hands.  They've made it clear over the last 6 months, at the federal and state level (not all states, but the one I live in and others).  Yes, it makes me sick I didn't buy an AK 4-5 years ago when they were priced $400-$600.  But, I'd rather buy one now under $1,000 then wait for common sense to smack our politicians in the face - and pray prices drop.

I'd rather bite the bullet now, than when an AK (or AR or pick your favorite weapon) costs $1,000, $1,500 or more.
