| I recently took out my front sight post to replace it with one of those HI-Viz FSP and like I read in a previous posting the HI-Viz FSP was wayyy to loose for my liking even after the several attempts with teflon tape standard and the yellow thicker gas type........sooo I didnt like it enough to keep it there. Now the problem is that I am having trouble getting the original back in due to the split base of the FSP as the base is bigger than the hole it is supposed to go back in.....I really dont strip or cross thread it. Any advise????? |

I had a rifle with a broken post
New one would vibrate loose so I screwed it in tight then took screwdriver and beat that split wider Then unscrew up to sight in and its really tight now You could try to pinch it a hair to make it thinner to screw in then if it was loose like mine you know hot to fix |
