I saw a Yugo yesterday at an undisclosed shop that had no markings on the trunion or rsb.  It was smooth.  It did have wood forearm stocks, original pistol grip, flash break, and seemed to be in good shape as far as the internals go.  $475 cash.  Deal or no deal?

OK, I bought it.  I saw two Norinco's next to the Yugo and was wondering if the MAK 90's were comparable, or even a better buy at the same price.  These both had the thumbhole stock (which I don't like).

You did good buying the Yugoslavian Rifle. I have 14 Kalashnikovs, and of those 7 are Yugoslavian, 4 are Valmets, 2 are Polytechs and 1 Bulgarian SLR 105. Im partial to the Yugos has that is my Family background.
Best Regards.

That's actually difficult to say without seeing the MAK-90's.  Especially if one of them had a milled receiver and a straight-cut.  With the de-banning of MAK-90's becoming an art, it could go either way.  Congratulations on your new rifle!
