Why are Yugos not chromed lined, or are some of them? I'm a newbie, but my Yugo is not my first AK. I'm still learning the things to know about AKs.

I don't think anyone truly knows why. Don't let that stop you from getting one though.

That's not an argument of Romanian VS Yugoslavian. That's an argument of buying Century vs. buying a weapon from a reputable builder. Just because you got one Romanian that worked and one Yugo that didn't from Century doesn't mean Romanians are better than Yugos, it just means that you got lucky once then unlucky the second time around. Yugos are clearly superior weapons.

Hold up a second..... I never said a Romanian was better than a Yugo in any such way at all. Now did I? I guess you kinda took what I stated and just ran with it. In my statement I stated I wish I never would have sold it as with other weapons I have owned and sold and regret selling them (my collection would be larger). There was no comparison on my part.

Vector, Redjacket, Arsenal, Lancaster, Krebs, Ohio Rapid Fire, to name a few.

If you want a Yugo Century is pretty much your best bet. I think Krebs made them for a while but they were 1000+ dollars. Don't be afraid to buy Century. One thing about them is if the rifle is messed up they will fix it or replace it, it just sucks that they do put out so many that are messed up. Most of them are fine though.
