| Since most of our rebuilds have new barrels, is it a good idea to break in the barrel, per proper technique? In the past I have shot groups of 5, wiping the barrel down between groups. Do AK's require the same treatment? Anyone, ever do this? |
I would clean it. Yugos are do not have chrome lined barrels and a lot of the ammo out there may or may not be corrosive. At least give the barrel a good cleaning but other than that no break in needed. |
