My dad bought this sks in the early 90's. I am pretty familiar with these rifles but this on has a gold colored bayonet and the wood looks different that any other Russian sks I have seen. I know the pics aren't great. On the receiver cover is 1951r or what appears to be an R above that is an arrow in a star ( the factory who made it) On the left rear side of the buttstock is the same thing. There are also some other proof marks of 4 squares with something in each in a circle on the left side of the stock under the rear side The squares are at 12, 3,6,9 o'clock. The serial # on the stock matches the reciver but the serial #'s on the bolt, magazine trigger guard are different but the 3 mention parts match eachother. Any help will be appreciated. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/pbc3/MVC-002F.jpg .http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/pbc3/MVC-001F.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/pbc3/MVC-003F.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c289/pbc3/MVC-004F.jpg |
