I came across a SKS with all matching nos. Here is the rundown; I did not get the date because bubba had put on a bsquare cover over the reciever cover , the reciever cover has matching sn's to the rest of the rifle. Bubba cut the front sight/bayonet mount was cut with a hacksaw! The wood is shiney and a recoil pad has been installed . Kinda sucks because the stock is same sn. as the rest of the rifle. The sn. is real as far as I can tell because of the cyrillic letters. Where can I get the following, front sight, cleaning rod, bayonet. The guy wants $230 and it has a Simmons red dot scope. Is it worth it and the hassle?

cyrillic stamping dies are available in this country on the internet, so don't take that as the only indication of authenticity.

If you just want one for the hell of it you could get a decent one cheaper than that. I payed $250 for my unfired, maching #s still in the cosmoline.
