| I found a russian SKS at a gunshop for 250 bucks. its in good condition, probably better, the only problem i can find is that the wood on the gas piston doesnt match the stock wood. Let me know what you guys think. |

Strip that Russian before you hand over your $$$ I paid more than that, but I got a Tula Russian (preban) with under 50 round fired through it. ALL the orgional parts and accessories, a Choate pistol grip stock, and sport stock. plus a 20rnd Non detach ChiCom mag. Shoots great with the custom muzzle breaj that was put on it. 2 MOA !!! with Russian (wolf FMJ) ammo! |
| Thats not a bad price in my area. I paid $325 for mine that had 5 rounds put through it. You have to ask yourself "what are using it for". Mine is for show, I may never shoot it due to all matching #'s. If you intend to shoot it then you can buy a replacement stock. In your shoes I would buy it and replace the stock to something nice from Tapco.com or sksman.com and do some mod's. You might be able to find a matching wood stock on the internet too. |
