I just picked up a Russian SKS that was imported with the CCCP mark on the right side of the receiver.  The top cover had the makers mark grinded off!! It has a four letter/number serial on the right side of O upside U 327* Can someone tell me who made this SKS?  Thanks.

It was not imported with the CCCP mark-that was added by the importer.  Not really possible to tell whether it was manufactured at Tula or Izhevsk without the mark on the top cover.
