Hanging out here has inspired me to return my Norinco SKS back to its original wood stock.  It's never gonna be a Dragonov so why try to make it look like one.  Anyway, I've got the matching serial # stock it came with but, for the life of me I can't think of what I did with the metal hardware to secure it.  Anyone know where I can get some replacement hardware?
Thanks

??? What Hardware? Did you remove the crossbolt from the original stock?

Crossbolt!!!  That's what I'm looking for.  Where can I get one?

Not sure if any vendors still sell these. I'd have to check but I may still have a few.
IIRC there were a few sizes, but I can't remember if it was 2 or 3. I believe the size was slightly different for pinned and screwed barrels. Either can be made to work with the help of a file or shims at the rear of the receiver. The function of the crossbolt was to hold the action in the stock tightly, by friction fit.
