An "unissued" Yugo 59/66 or Norinco in very nice condition.  Which would you choose.

I actually have the Yugo and was thinking of swapping for the Norinco.

so u own a Yugo with a perfect barrel and you want to swap it for a Norinco? why?

Depends on the Norinco.  I'd go for a 1967 or older (ser# begins with 11 or less), which will have all machined parts, chrome lined barrel and arguably better fit and finish.  The down side of the Norinco is the smaller stalk.

I prefer the balance and handling of the Chinese carbine.
The Yugoslavian rifle handles more like a full size rifle which I don't find desirable in a firearm that fires the 7.62X39 cartridge.
YMMV

I remember last year when the Yugo's were the bottom of the barrel and were going for 160, now they are 300 + and people love them. I guess with the top sks's getting harder and harder to find, the easier to find Yugo's moved to the top.
