I have a quick question to see if anyone has run into this before. I have several SKSs, all in excellent  and comparable shape to one anothershape. I picked up an early chinese model in 100% condition, and noticed that there is alot more of a gap and "wiggle" between the chamber walls and the cartridge than my other chinese SKSs and my russian, which have almost no play or gap with a round chambered (no the bolt is NOT in the rifle when I do this and the rounds are dummies I made up ( with no propellant or primers) Im hoping the variance is normal, and that I dont have a chamber that is too large, I reload for these things and would like my brass to last awhile. I dont know why there would be such a difference on the newest conditioned one I have compared to the otheres. Thoughts/comments?
Thanks guys

Thats what you call mass producing The guns were never designed to be reloaded for and be match guns... they were only designed to work every time and not jam with dirt which explains the loose tolerances. Have you shot reloads in it yet? Im sure the "oversize" chamber isn't "normal"  but you'll probably never have a problem with it... if your unsure about it have someone check it out for ya
