Need quick advise on a russian SKS. I am being offered one for $375.00. All of the correct markings and looks very good. Only missing the cleaning kit.
Deal or no Deal? Please help ! |

Quoted:
That's a "fair" price for a matching Russian that hasn't been used much, bluing is 100%, and such. We'd really need to see it, you know? Pretty fair statement. We need to hear more information from you such as the bluing, bore condition, do all #'s match, etc. If it's not on the higher end condition wise i would not pay that much for it, for $375 it should be in excellent condition. |

There are starting to be more Russians coming back under the $400 mark since the peak of the craze, but precious few under $300. Things to look for besides condition of blueing, matching numbers, are Refurb evidence such as black bolt carrier, original arctic birch or laminated stock. Many variables can set the value from $300 to 700 and up. |
