I purchased a Yugo SKS from a neighbor. It is in very nice shape, looks unissued, but there is one problem. The receiver cover pin had broken and he replaced it with a nut and bolt. While I am not concerned with the aesthetic aspect of having that nut and bolt there, I am concerned about the bolt being able to perform the function of the pin and be SAFE. I do not know if the bolt is hardened steel or not. My gut says that all should be OK, but I figure I'd ask someone with more knowledge than myself. Go to the top of the pageReport Post + |
