[ARCHIVED THREAD] - flash hiders

There was a post somewhere in the ak section that showed various muzzle devises for krinks. I was wondering if anyone knew where that was or if they work? I am looking to try something that is lighter than my setup now. With the can, krebs rail, and aimpoint comp m2, my gun is getting a little front end heavy.

I use the Manitcore and it puts out a baseball sized fireball in front of the brake in the daytime.

I don't think of the Manticore as a flash hider it's more of a muzzle brake.

If you are getting some sort of recoil reduction I would be surprised. What barrel length and caliber are you using, and what is the muzzle flash like sans flash hider?
