I purchased a yugo krink kit and it didn't come with a front site post. Anyone know where I can purchase one for?

I don't know if its just mine but a regular ak site will not screw down far enough. The gun shoots real low. And its not a night sight like the rear.

If you can't find a yugo one, just screw the post down about as far as it'll go, then take a file with you to the range. Shoot a group, file on the post a little, shoot another group, file on the post some more, shoot another group... and so on until you get the rifle zeroed.

Then when you get home put some cold blue on the post where you filed on it, and you're good to go.

This is how lots of older military rifles (like M1 Carbines, etc) were done, since they came with no elevation adjustment (other than the range adjustments on the rear sight, which don't do any good for zeroing). The factories just intentionally put high front sight posts on them for that purpose.

Something else that might be of use to you when zeroing your AK... if you set your rear sight on the 100 meter setting, the "near zero" is at 42 _yards_, so if you set your target at 42 yards and zero the shots dead center with the sight set on the "100" setting, your "far zero" will be at 100 meters / 109 yards.

Have fun and go slow when filing... or take an extra sight post with ya for if you take too much off the first one.

You'll have that thing shooting great in no time.

- Edited to add... you do know that the front has a flip up night sight and that the rear night site flips up and down, right? I'm just mentioning it 'cause if you have the rear night sight up while you're zeroing it could possibly throw off your zero a little if the little flip up U doesn't match up perfectly with the daytime U.

I'm sure you already noticed all that... I'm just making sure just in case. Better to give too much info than not enough.
