http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a378/tackmaster/100_1591.jpg I recently purchased this post-ban Intrac Maadi and had a chance to take it out to the range today. I went through about 220 rds, with not 1 FTF. And I was very pleased with my groups at 50 yds with the iron sights. But after about 100 rds or so, the trigger slap did become rather annoying. What is the single best way to eliminate this from happening? I hear there are replacement trigger groups out there that claim to stop this from happening. But which one is best for this rifle? Also, will I be able to change it out myself, or does it require gunsmithing? Any info would be appreciated... |

Get yourself a Tapco G2 FCG. It'll also count as 3 US parts in case you decide to ditch the butthole stock. No, it does not require a gunsmith to change out the FCG. Here's some instructions... www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/fcgremoval.htm |

tapeo1, The G2 FCG I see on Tapco's site are all double hook triggers. My Maadi is a single hook. I'm wondering if this will work for my rifle, because there is only one cut-away on the bottom of my receiver for that one hook to come down. Won't Tapco's second hook stop at the receiver bottom, thus stopping the full range of the trigger's motion??? |
| They do make a single hook FCG. Red Star Arms has the single hook for $40 |
Yes, you need a single hook FCG. DPH Arms has got them: dpharms.com/tapco-g2-single-hook-trigger-group-p-102.html |
