I am told by the staff at Tapco that their handguards will not fit the RPM-configured Maadi. Further, they say, they are unaware of any aftermarket part that will fit. [>:/]Is there anyone out there who knows differently? I prefer to use synthetic.
Related to this...What if I find nothing to replace the handguard and leave it in place? Will replacing the hideous thumbhole stock with a pistol grip/buttstock combo, along with a Tapco FCG render the unit 922R compliant or not? If not, what would be the easiest/cheapest fix for compliance? Thanks for looking. While I'm thinking about it, is the Maadi RPM gas piston longer than standard? |
