A local funshop has a used Saiga 308 that's been converted into a Galil clone...looking it over it appears to have the correct sights, folding stock, pistol grip, bayo lug, flash hider, etc. The flip-up night sights don't have any inserts, and I'm not quite certain if the handguards are original Galil or aftermarket crapco's. Everything's been coated in a black glossy finish that looks like it might be Gunkote...bore looks nice and shiny, and there's a fairly normal amount of wear on the bolt group. Only comes with ony factory 8-rounder, but I know that there's plenty of aftermarkets available.
I'm not really looking for a Galil, but I like the side folder, and the work seems to be very good quality...but the price seems pretty hard to pass up. So what would the hive think this rifle to be worth? |
