The main difference is the extra parts in the FA FCG, or rather the lack of those parts in the Arsenal FCG. I wouldn't consider them milspec either, they are made out of some kind of injection molding.
The ones I had in my SGL31's are gritty and feel like crap, I replaced them with G2's and have been happy with them. My SLR105 has a trigger like butter though, so maybe they older Arsenal FCG's were a better design. 88 Izzy parts ( some might be 86 Tula AKSU, can't remember)
