Hey guys did my conversion on my Saiga 7.62, have the following new parts

Tapco folding stock
Dinzag bullet guide
Tapco single hook trigger group

I did not reinstall the BHO.

Also ordered the dinzag conversion kit to make things easier (new trigger guard, nylon plugs, etc..)

I took the gun out to the range today and ran into a major issue

After firing the first round the trigger fails to recock. I then have to pull the bolt back, thereby ejecting a round, and then fire.
The malfunction then repeats itself.

On the live rounds that are ejected from me pulling the bolt back there is a dent in the center of the primer as if the firing pin struck it but not hard enough. I am only pulling the trigger once each time. I did a visual inspection comaring it to my norinco on the inside and everything looks in order. I thought at first it might be the spring to I switched that out with my Norinco but same problem. I tried different magazines and same problem. It seems obvious its something with the trigger, probably I installed it incorrectly but I don't see where. Everything matches up with all the pictures I have seen. I'll post a picture of the receiver when I get home tonight.

Anyone got any ideas or had a similar issue?

Did you buy a generic Tapco AK trigger set or one of Dinzag's "Saiga" conversion trigger kits?  The Saiga conversion hammers are modified to fit the Saiga factory BHO.  They probably won't line up properly without it installed.

Try hand-cycling the gun: cock the hammer, restrain the hammer, pull the trigger and ease the hammer forward.  Keep holding the trigger back, thumb back the hammer (should latch).  Release the trigger, and the hammer should switch from being held by the disconnector hooks to the trigger hook.

could also be the dissconector spring not installed. Like posted above, try hand cycling and see what or what not happens.

Sounds like no disconnector spring,or one of the "bad" G-2's that had
the spring pocket to deep.

Did you reuse the disconnector spring from the original FCG or did you buy and install a new disconnector spring?
