is the pistol grip on a VEPR interchangable with a standard AK pistol grip? I really like the look, and was thinking of putting a VEPR pgrip (assuming I can find one) on my 74...

Umm no...The pistol grip and stock that came from Rob Arms is one molded piece.  You can change the pistol grip to something different, but then you will need to add a side folder of some type.

It is the same. However if you go with an ACE reciever block for Veprs you could use any AK grip you wanted.

The PG on my VEPR K is basically a SAW style PG. The PG and buttstock are one solid piece.

If I understand you correctly, you want to put a VEPR PG on an AK. I would just shop around for a SAW style PG.

Here's how it looks now:

I didn't like how long the VEPR stock was, so I added the AR stock so I can collapse it to fit me right.  I added the SAW grip as it was the closest to the original VEPR grip, which I DID like...
