Huge pic On Point Firearms shot a member on calguns.net about custom Saiga's imported by Arsenal thread where I saw this What you guys think? |
It's a California gun, so no it does not need a pistol grip conversion. I think it's a great way to get around the AWB and have an AK in Cali! EAT: whoa! $650?! No welding, no Bullet Guide, no refinish? Yeah that's a rip. |
Yeah they are a bit expensive at 650... its basically a dimpled saiga with a ak 100 front end. There are a few other features... the correct russian 1000 m sight leaf (hard to find prior to this) Izzy marked front trunnion... But... people will buy them and convert them. I'd like to get one in .223. My interest in the 7.62 version isn't that big as I already have a fully converted saiga in 7.62. The Arsenal/K-Var crap is expensive though... The threaded sight block, front end furniture, bayo lug gas block... hell that stuff if bought from K-var would run you over 250$ easy + the 300 Saiga with dimples... I mean... I've seen dudes spend near a grand if not OVER to convert a saiga. This is basically already done for people as the front end proves to be the most challenging for most. $600 would be a better price point in my opinion though :(. |

There are two different models...
The SGL10-01 and the SGL10-01SP. From what I've read you definitely want the SGL10-01SP which lets you move the tiger guard forward to install a handel and be able to put a folding stock on it. I know a guy who can get the them at 01-595.00/01 and the SP-615.00. Not sure how long they will be in stock though. IM or email me I'll give you his info. |
