I know it's a horrible noob question but I thought it was a WASR-10 until someone in the photo thread said it wasn't is it a SAR? If so which one? I'd ask the guy I bought it from but for all he knows its an AK-47

Looks like a SAR-1 to me if it is indeed 7.62 Soviet. Whats stamped on the reciever? that should tell the tale.

I dont have it with me but it does say that it is romanian and it was imported to georgia, vt ? i believe.

Since no one said it, you can tell it's not a WASR because of the dimples just above the mag well -- the WASRs don't have them.
