Kvar is out of Romanian front site posts. I need one for an SAR 2 with a threaded front site base. Will a Chinese, Bulgarian, Russian or East German version fit? They seem to be more commonly available. Thanks. |

Thanks for the comments. I managed to salvage the original post by making a front site elevation adjustment tool from a 5mm socket, as per an earlier thread. I actually broke two Tapco units trying to get it out. Glad I was able to remove the original and get it into the new base. Shipping for this tiny part was nearly $10 from kvar. |
