I planned on going to the range this weekend, so I went to wipe down my PSL tonight. I noticed that the muzzle attachment has about 3/32" wobble to it. The weld on the muzzle attachment is broken and it is only held on by the retaining pin. The remainder of the weld restrains the movement some, but it seems like a lot of play.

Is there normally this much movement when it is held on by the threads and retaining pin? Is this much much play acceptable?

Do I need to have it welded back or is it legal to be just threaded on?

Thanks.

On my WASR10GP my break will turn past the retaining pin so that my slant is straight up and down.

I have read that this is normal that they where meant to be attached by hand and not tightened down by tools. So the proper way to attach one is to turn it till it is completely on and then back it off to the pin.

I would think this would be similar to all AK platforms
Hope this helps a little
