Do you guys have any tips on how to get the retainer pin that holds the muzzle break plunger out?  I spent half an hour whacking it with a punch and hammer.

Also, a friend was able to get the retainer pin out of his but once the plunger was installed and the pin pounded  back in place the plunger won't move.  Already filed the plunger with not luck.

Maybe if I ask a specific question....  does the retainer pin need to be pounded out in a specific direction or does that matter at all?  How much force is this going to take?  I was using a standard hammer but was thinking of picking up a mini sledge hammer.
