| I have an Arsenal (Nevada) SA M-7 Classic and I don't have a clue as to what bayonet it takes. Someone told me that a type 1 will work. What is a type 1 and is it a type 1 AKM or type 1 AK47 or is that one in the same. Gun was made during the ban but I have been told that it doesn't matter because it is a type 1. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have a gun show this weekend and would like to go and pick one up if someone can give me a definitive answer. What should I pay for something like new-unissued? Thx |

Your rifle probably doesn't have a bayonet lug, as it is a postban gun, you wouldn't be able to attatch a bayo to it anyway. You would need to replace the FSB to attatch a bayo to the rifle. Arsenal should have all the parts you need for the conversion, and probably the correct bayo as well. Also this isn't the correct forum for this post. The rifle in question isn't Romanian, and you don't seem to be specifically asking about Romanian parts. This side of the houses is pretty lax, and I am not bitching at you, just suggesting you might get a quicker, more accurate response in the AK GD forum. |
