After 4 years of heavy abuse, my SAR1's rail loosened but was an easy weld repair.

I bet the side rail is not parallel to the bore, and your western optic ran out of room to adjust. You can measure to check, try shims, or just get a PSO 4x24.

im almost positive your correct. im using a (cheap)  Bushnell.  iv taken it to the range and attempted to zero it, and it was shooting high, so i began lowering the hairs. i adjusted it as low as it could go but is still shooting high.....very high.   also do the PSO zero easily???
