Ok....I tried to take my stock off of my Romanian AK-74....there were two wood screws, and that was all I could see that was holding it in place. Is there anything else I need to do? or do I have to man it out of the reciever???Thanks..

Just try wiggling it side too side and top to bottom it should come out eventually...

Check out the article here. There's a tacked thread at the top of this forum that links to the Romanian AK site. Lots of great info.

Take a large screw driver and put it in the hole at the top of the rear trunion where the stock tang enters the rear of the receiver, gently pry it out.  Some of the Romys fit very tight.  It worked for me.

I had to use a 3/8 socket drive pull handle and a hammer to tap the buttstock out of my SAR-2.  The fit is VERY tight, but it will come out.
